Tuesday, 25 November 2014. AC Milan and its coach Filippo “Pippo” Inzaghi have realeased a note saying that no flirting occurred between Barbara Berlusconi – AC Milan's owner's daughter and member of board of directors – and the club's former star.
“Barbara Berlusconi and Filippo Inzaghi have instructed their lawyers to take legal action against all the media who report the news of an alleged relationship. The news is in fact false and totally invented.” says the note issued by the daughter of AC Milan's owner, and by the handsome new manager of the team.

The official denial was provoked by a number of articles appeared on Italian gossip and sport media, suggesting that something happened between the 41-year-old manager and the 30-year-old executive of AC Milan. Executive, and daughter of AC Milan's owner Silvio Berlusconi, to be precise.
Actually the rumour started to spread in the run up to the derby between Inter Milan and AC Milan, as the city of Milan became the focus of the media spotlight (and after the end of the relationship between the ex-player and Alessia Ventura, a model, showgirl, actress, TV anchorwoman and dancer, according to Wikipedia).
So it isn't true that Barbara has a love affair with Pippo? Well, the strong and harsh dismissal of the rumours reminds us of what happened a few years ago, when a similar action followed the gossips about the love story between the blonde Berlusconi and Alexandre Pato, at that time a striker of the rossoneri, but in the end the affair became public.
Only time will tell.

P.S.: As per the Derby della Madonnina (as the Italians call the clash between AC Milan and Inter Milan), it turned out to be a pretty boring game, between two decadent ex-stars of the Serie A and the European football. 1-1 was the final result.
