Berlusconi is portrayed by good friend and full time pensioner George W Bush

Friday, 4 April 2014. 67-year-old George W Bush portrays world leaders – among them 77-year-old Berlusconi – showing how retirement can be a nice period of our lives.

As a world leader George W Bush has collected a few critics (even though he won Mr Berlusconi's long-lasting friendship), here and there, but you have to admit that as a amateur painter he has a knack, as he unveiled an exhibitions of his works, dubbed “The Art of Leadership: A President’s Personal Diplomacy”.

There are 24 characters portrayed by the former president of the USA, like his very father George H W Bush, Russia's president Vladimir Putin, former UK's prime minister Tony Blair, the Dalai Lama and – of course - the disgraced ex-prime minister of Italy Silvio Berlusconi (currently out of work as a politician, due to his judicial woes).

Berlusconi sleeping the sleep of the just, down in Texas

Thu, 25 April, 2013. During the George W Bush Presidential Center dedication ceremony in Dallas, Texas, Silvio Berlusconi takes his usual nap.

Yeah, we know, it's not really a novelty; the last time Silvio Berlusconi fell asleep during the inauguration of a monument to the deported of the Shoah was the end of January, on the International Holocaust Remembrance Day when the media mogul, after praising Italian dictator Benito Mussolini.

Sleeping in the Texas' sun
But his political career has been marked by naps and forty winks, one of the most celebrated one dates back at Karol Józef Wojtyła's (aka Pope John Paul II) beatification (nope, we haven't written a post on that, but will do).

Still, the picture – published by the Huffington Post and running for the #SundayCaptionContest on Twitter – is quite funny, isn't it?

Silvio Berlusconi show off his proficiency in English

Saturday, 14 September 2002. Silvio Berlusconi is in Camp David, officially visiting the USA. The Italian politician makes a speech in English and US President George W Bush gets quite impressed by his knowledge of foreign languages.

After a year from the 9/11 terrible attacks upon New York City and the Pentagon, Italy's prime minister Silvio Berlusconi travelled to the United States of America in order to meet up with president George W Bush.

Who's the guy on the left? Tony Soprano or Silvio Berlusconi?
The two fellow politicians are notably good friends.

The main reason of the visit was to thoroughly discuss steps to be taken regarding the war on terrorism, the (apparently) related situation in Iraq and how to handle the whole thing at the United Nations.
