Berlusconi, Ruby, Nicole, paid sex, girls and women, testing and tasting: the prosecutors speak their mind

Friday, 31 May, 2013. During the closing arguments of the Ruby case, prosecutors asked for 7-year sentences for any of the Silvio Berlusconi 's friends involved in bunga-bunga parties and related sex scandal, for different reasons, as they illustrated.

Nicole Minetti seems to say: “Sex for money? Me?
Are you serious?”
Nicole Minetti, former regional councillor, showgirl and model (and - according to her - former girlfriend of Silvio Berlusconi), apart for having fulfilled tasks of “intermediation” in the fixing of the bunga-bunga parties, had an active role by “performing sexual acts for money”, according to prosecutor Antonio Sangermano, while women-connoisseurs “associates” Dario Gabriele “Lele” Mora and Emilio Fede “tested – or tasted - the pleasantness of the girls, checked their social-relational skills and then led into the circuit of the evenings” at Berlusconi's villa in Arcore.

They all deserve a reclusion of 7 years, according to the Public Prosecutor.

Moroccan nightclub dancer Karima El Mahorug, alias Ruby the Heartstealer, was introduced in this “ring of prostitution” (as one of the prosecutor dubbed what Berlusconi calls a series of “innocent parties”) by the above mentioned associates.

Rubyhad been lying to the prosecutors back in 2010, but when she talked about a sum of €4.5m (that is £3.85m or $5.84) – she wrote it onto a handwritten paper, found by investigators – she knew that “she did something that allowed her to ask for money and expect a reward from Mr Berlusconi”.

The prosecutors stated that the young woman had sex with the former prime minister of Italy, and that he paid for that (it's the subject of another trial, documents say that Ruby “committed sexual acts with Berlusconi, against payment in cash and other compensation, at his residence” on 13 occasions), while Karima says it is not true.

This proceeding has been portrayed as a farce and a big intrusion into a person's life [guess whose life?] and the magistrates were portrayed as avid spies” - said the prosecutor, most probably alluding at the documentary “The twenty years' war” broadcast by Silvio Berlusconi's Canale 5 on the eve of the trial (the Italian billionaire also said that “the Italian Judiciary ismore dangerous than Sicilian Mafia”...) - but here we are just “dealing with the behavioural profiles in relation to the probative value in this process”.

It means they do have evidence about that, I assume. On top of what Berlusconi's wife - Veronica Lario, the second one - has being saying and writing. And possibly confirming what witnesses have declared.
“We have received” - he continued - “a glaring crime report concerning an under-age girl who roamed the streets of Milan with bundles of money, who attended luxury hotels, who lived with a prostitute and who frequented the house of a rich and powerful man from which was said to receive money after fleeing a community. It was our duty to investigate.”

Finally he added “a judgement on Silvio Berlusconi and his vicissitudes [and scandals] will be given by other democratic sittings, ballot box and history.”. And - perhaps - Silvio's current girlfriend, who allegedly decided to keep the entrepreneur turned into politician on quite a short leash...

Now, just sit down and wait for media tycoon's reaction, it's could be fun. Most probably we get new material for our page about Berlusconi's quotes, even if the former head of cabinet is able to keep his hair on...
