Thursday, 23 January 2014. Silvio Berlusconi – who has already been given a 7-year sentence – risks to get more as prosecutors investigate over accusations he and his lawyers corrupted witnesses of the sex scandal trial.
The investigations over the alleged prostitution ring set by Mr Berlusconi aren't finished yet, we are now in the so-called phase three - according to the news -, aka Rubygate ter or Rubygate 3.0 (the name originates from Ruby the Heartstealer, the nom de guerre – the real name is Karima El Mahroug - of the girl who apparently had sex with the politician when still a teenager).
Silvio Berlusconi faces yet another investigation linked to the bunga-bunga sex scandal
The two previous spells of the proceedings were pretty disastrous for the former prime minister and his friends... With the first episode of the sex scandal trial, Berlusconi won a 7-year sentence (child prostitution and abuse of office), with the second stint – the Ruby-bis - it was his protégé Nicole Minetti and one of his friends and employee Emilio Fede who received a conviction. 7 years apiece, details in our post (click here to read it).
Thursday, 2 January 2014. Silvio Berlusconi appeals against his conviction for paying for sex with a minor and abuse of office, nasty things he did when Prime Minister of Italy, according to judges.
Berlusconi just couldn't resist teenage Ruby's charm
Silvio Berlusconi was given a 7-year sentence in the end of June 2013 for having sex with a minor (the nightclub dancer and stripper Karima El Mahroug, better known as Ruby the Heartstealer, her stage name) and for abusing of his office as a prime minister, when he tried to cover the story that threaten to become public, as the young girl was stopped by the police. Berlusconi personally phoned the policemen, saying that they better release Ruby into the safe hands of show-girl-turned-into-politician Nicole Minetti (the attractive young woman will also get a 7-year sentence – later on – for procuring women for the former Italian prime minister's bunga-bunga parties in Villa San Martino), since it seemed she's the nephew of Egypt's president Hosni Mubarak.
Ruby the Heartstealer received from Silvio Berlusconi "money and jewellery" in exchange for sex, according to Milan's judges
Thursday, 21 November 2013. Milan's court publishes details of Berlusconi conviction, is bunga bunga parties and his exchange of money and jewellery for sex with under-age dancer Karima el Mahroug (aka Ruby the Heart Stealer).
The proceedings about the sex scandal that involved Silvio Berlusconi ended up with a seven-year sentence, appeal pending. It's no more on the news, as it happened last June, but now new details have been disclosed about the sex scandal, as the Milan's court published a 350-page document about testimonies, bunga bunga parties and – of course – lots of women. The former prime minister of Italy will also be banned from public office for life (if he fails to win the appeal to the sentence), a problem that adds up to Berlusconi's woes: on Wednesday the Senate will decide whether to expel him from the Italian parliament, in the wake of his conviction for tax fraud (no appeal pending, this one is definitive).
Thursday, 10 October 2013. On her blog, Italian actress of Bulgarian descent Michelle Bonev wrote a post where discloses the fact that Silvio Berlusconi's girlfriend is – in fact – a lesbian. Since she is coming out, she also reveals details of his relationship with the former PM of Italy.
“The truth will make us free” reads the title of the post published on actress Michelle Bonev (real name Dragomira Boneva), where she declares that she had an affair with Silvio Berlusconi's girlfriend, the 28-year-old Francesca Pascale.
Michelle/Dragomira is an actress, who started working as a nightclub escort, after moving to Italy from Bulgaria when she was 18. Then Bonev discovered Silvio Berlusconi, she was one of the actresses and girls gathering around Berlusconi in order to get money, work, gifts. She got parts, help, and when needed a budget to produce a film, Goodbye Mama (rated 4.9/10 on the Internet Movie Database), in which she was the protagonist and the director, she got it. With the help of Italian taxpayers.

Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi was the first to be convicted in connection with the infamous bunga-bunga parties, he has been sentenced to seven years, together with a lifetime ban on holding public office. Berlusconi's sentenced was based on charges of abuse of power (as a PM) and paying for sex a minor prostitute, namely the 17-year-old Moroccan nightclub dancer Karima El Mahroug (generally known as Ruby the Heartstealer). Berlusconi denies having had sex for money at all (with any woman in the world, for that matters: he does not need any money to lay females!), denies abuse of power charges (it was just a nice phone call to a police station, to ask agents to release Ruby the Heartstealer, saying that she was the granddaughter of
Fri, 28 June 2013. A minor branch of the sex scandal trial gravitating to stripper Karima El Mahroug approaches its end and new leaks about Mr Berlusconi's bunga-bunga nights might come to light, as well as other details about women, girls and others.
Mr Berlusconi's associate Lele Mora relaxing
The
main branch of the trail that followed the rubygate inquiry ended a
few days ago when the former prime minister of Italy Silvio
Berlusconi was sentenced to 7 years in prison (pending appeal, of
course) for child prostitution and abuse of power, but there is a secondary branch of the proceeding – dubbed
Ruby 2 or Ruby bis - where three persons are accused of pimping on
behalf of Mr Berlusconi,
The
three characters – for whom Prosecution demand a 7-year sentence to
each and everyone - are a model-politician, Nicole Minetti, a
journalist-politician, Emilio Fede, and a showbiz agent-bankrupt
manager-bisexual dope pusher, Lele Mora. They are accused of recruiting, testing and keep the females needed for the bunga-bunga parties.
Wed, 19 June, 2013. Silvio Berlusconi risks of being booted out of politics for good, as he loses appeal to the constitutional court in relation with Mediaset tax fraud trial.
The so-called Mediaset trial has been lingering on for more than 10 years (Wikipedia provides quite an extensive picture over Berlusconi's trials and allegations, click here to check this out).
Will Silvio end up in handcuffs?
the list of
people involved is pretty long - a fair share of the Berlusconi
family is in it, like Silvio's children Marina Berlusconi and
Piersilvio Berlusconi – but it's the head of the family who has
more to lose, since he could end up banned from holding public
office, if things turn nasty.
Saturday, 8 June, 2013. Rumour has it that the newly formed Freedom Army is recruiting youngsters from schools, as it is sufficient to be 16 to help Silvio Berlusconi fight the Twenty Years' War and a large number of crusaders is needed to defeat the hordes communists dwelling in the country.
The Freedom Army recruiting web page
The Freedom Army (Esercito della Libertà) – also known as “Esercito di Silvio” (“Silvio's Army”) – is new initiative created by the entrepreneur Simone Furlan, founded with the goal to recruit volunteer crusaders to defend the former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi from the continuous attacks from the judiciary, the communists, the anti-democratic forces and their allies. A clearly example of the bad faith of the prosecutors is the fact that they accused Silvio's former lover Nicole Minetti of having had sex for money with the billionaire, whilst she was in love with him. The jihad that the freedom fighters are expected to fight is the Twenty Years' War, a war clearly explained in a documentary broadcast by Mediaset's Canale 5, titled “The Twenty Years' War – Ruby's Last Act”.
Friday, 7 June, 2013. At the Ruby 2 trial Nicole Minetti denies having had “sex for money” and reveals that it was “true love” if she was hosted by Silvio Berlusconi at his villa(s), and reveals unprecedented “media aggression followed by a wave of scorn” against her.
Nicole Minetti in court
On 31 May prosecutors hinted that Nicole Minetti had being “performing sexual acts for money” in Silvio Berlusconi's villa(s), apparently with the former prime minister, during a trial – dubbed Ruby 2, from the name of the main character involved and because the Ruby #1 is the trial against Silvio himself – where Nicole is a defendant, together with Lele Mora and Emilio Fede.
Nicole Minetti is charged with “induction into prostitution”, as a organiser of bunga-bunga parties and recruiter of prostitutes (among them under-age belly dancer Karima El Mahroug aka Ruby the Heartstealer, nickname that dubbed the related proceedings). Proceedings are slowed down by many obstacles, Karima El Mahroug numerous lies didn't help much. but proceedings are always slow in Italy, aren't they? Prosecution asked for a 7-year sentence.
Friday, 31 May, 2013. During the closing arguments of the Ruby case, prosecutors asked for 7-year sentences for any of the Silvio Berlusconi 's friends involved in bunga-bunga parties and related sex scandal, for different reasons, as they illustrated.
Nicole Minetti seems to say: “Sex for money? Me?
Are you serious?”
Nicole Minetti, former regional councillor, showgirl and model (and - according to her - former girlfriend of Silvio Berlusconi), apart for having fulfilled tasks of “intermediation” in the fixing of the bunga-bunga parties, had an active role by “performing sexual acts for money”, according to prosecutor Antonio Sangermano, while women-connoisseurs “associates” Dario Gabriele “Lele” Mora and Emilio Fede “tested – or tasted - the pleasantness of the girls, checked their social-relational skills and then led into the circuit of the evenings” at Berlusconi's villa in Arcore.
They all deserve a reclusion of 7 years, according to the Public Prosecutor.
Fri, 24 May, 2013. Testifying as a witness at the a trial were three individuals are charged for favouring prostitution, Moroccan stripper Karima El Mahroug (aka Ruby the Heartstealer says she was “talking crap” when she gave away details of spicy parties at Silvio Berlusconi's villa."
Me a prostitute? If not a saint, I might be a nun!
Ruby Rubacuori (Italian for Heartstealer) appeared on the trial (which is already a news, she sometimes forget about it...) where former TV presenter (and Berlusconi's friend, at least before he got dramatically fired by Mediaset, in 2012) Emilio Fede, celebrity agent Lele Mora and Nicole Minetti, a former Lombardy local councillor, model and showgirl are accused of supplying prostitutes to Mr Berlusconi's so-called "bunga-bunga" festive evenings in his villa in Arcore. Nicole said she had been hanging around just because she was the one and only girlefriend of the media millionaire.
Fri, 22 March, 2013. Silvio Berlusconi is portrayed as a driver of a Ford Figo who “leaves his worries behind”, symbolised by Ruby the Heartstealer, Francesca Pascale and Nicole Minetti tied up and gagged in the boot of the car.
The infamous advert created for Ford India,
with Karima-Ruby, Francesca and Nicole
A drawing appearing on the Ford Figo's ad by Ford India Ltd shows three curvaceous women – namely belly dancer Karima El Mahroug aka Ruby the Heart Breaker, Silvio Berlusconi's girlfriend Francesca Pascale and (former) sweetheart Nicole Minetti – hands a feet tied, muzzled, in the rear booth of a red car, whilst the former Italian prime minister is sitting in front of the vehicle, at the wheel, smiling and showing the V sign.
«Leave your worries behind with Figo's extra-large boot» reads the claim on the bottom of the page, obviously referring to Silvio's headaches about bunga-bunga parties, sex scandal trials, and other matters related to women.
Not exactly something that Berlusconi would find funny – we presume – and not exactly something in a good taste – we might say – considering the poor record of India in terms of behaviour of men towards women.
Monday,
4 March, 2013. Silvio Berlusconi has been running a prostitution
ring, according to prosecutors' final arguments in the last episode
of the Rubygate sex scandal related proceedings.
Karima El-Mahroug, aka Ruby the Heart Stealer
Silvio
Berlusconi is on trial – he managed to postpone the proceeding, due
to the general elections, but now he is running out of excuses... -,
since he is accused of soliciting an under-age prostitute (the
Moroccan Karima el-Mahroug, also known as Ruby Rubacuori i.e. Ruby
Heart Stealer) and for abuse of power, for having managed to free the
aforementioned Ruby Heart Stealer from the strong arm of the law,
and ushered her into the hands of Milan's municipality's councillor (party-organizer and part-time bikini-model) Nicole Minetti, by illicit means (amongst them he apparently said to the police
that Karima-Ruby - apparently - was the granddaughter of Egypt's former dictator
Hosni Mubarak).
Silvio Berlusconi heading to the court
By
doing this, Silvio – who at the time was Italy's prime minister –
recruited the Moroccan belly-dancer (and alleged call girl) into the
bunga-bunga army, a bunch of young women - the bunga-bunga girls - to be used for entertainment
during parties in his villa in Arcore. The women used to get a bed
where to sleep, 2,500 euro a month ($3,250 or £2,160), plus gifts
and presents in case of birthdays or name days.
The
prosecutor – Antonio Sangermano – said that Karima El-Mahroug
(who was 17, when first attended a so-called bunga-bunga party) was
"an integral part" of a "complex prostitution ring".
In the next days the prosecutors will publish the requested sentence,
the defence will reply on 11 March, and on 18 March the trail will
end with a verdict.
All
this is hardly likely to help the difficult relationship between the
former premier of Italy and the Italian Judiciary, which – according
to Silvio Berlusconi – is «more dangerous than the Sicilian Mafia,».
Tuesday,
25 December 2012. As Silvio Berlusconi reaches a settlement with his
previous wife, the alleged new fiancée Francesca Pascale is being
raised to become the official partner of the Knight, starting with the official photos.
Official pictures of the would-be First Lady
25
December 2012, Christmas day, was the day of the final settlement of the legal separation between Veronica Lario and Silvio Berlusconi (even though he will try and recover a part of the 36m euro a bunch of "feminist and communist" judges sentenced him to pay), and the day of the first official photo shoot of the apparent heir of Mrs Lario, Miss Francesca Pascale, at the villa of the former prime minister and billionaire in Arcore, near Milan.
Four of the photos were published by Italian news agency ANSA, in order to let the public know how the young Francesca is taking seriously the new role, (apparently) hoping to fully take over Mr Berlusconi's former wife place and fully join the family as soon as possible...
The
engagement with 27-year-old Francesca Pascale was announced by Silvio last December, on his own TV network's Canale 5's Sunday afternoon
Domenica Live, on 16 December 2012. The event has been promptly added to Silvio's page on Wikipedia.
Saturday,
December 22, 2012. Katarina Knezevic gives an interview to an Italian
daily newspaper saying that she will become the wife of Silvio
Berlusconi, not Francesca Pascale.
Katarina Knezevic, Montenegrin model and alleged "fidanzata" of Silvio
The
story with Francesca Pascale is “a heap of crap” according to
22-year-old Katarina Knezevic, the Montenegrin model who swears she is
the real Silvio Berlusconi's fiancée, or “fidanzata” as they say
in Italian.
Francesca
is just an electoral stunt, “the result of an agreement” –
according to the Balkan woman, who was a contestant on Miss
Montenegro pageant – she will never be the wife of Silvio
Berlusconi. “I am still in love with him” she added, in her
interview to the leftist daily newspaper “Il Fatto Quotidiano”
(“The Daily Fact”), “for a man like him I could kill and I'd be
ready to die”.
Silvio with official fiancée, Francesca
Katarina
is “a very dangerous crazy person”, "gypsy" a "runaway
from home", used to say to each other over the phone the
bunga-bunga princesses, Nicole Minetti, Barbara Faggioli, Imane Fadil
(actually on 9 August 2012 was Moroccan Imane who spontaneously told judge Ilda Boccassini that the Montenegrin beauty was Berlusconi's real
girlfriend).
Emilio Fede also told about a dramatic scene at the home of Italy's former
prime minister, when Katarina “made a nasty scene of jealousy”
about the presence of other women, and jumped from the stairs of the
villa, got hurt, and “Silvio Berlusconi had to retire, with
Katarina, in order to console her. Actually there are no public photos of Berlusconi with Katarina Knezevic.
Silvio'sinfatuation of for the young woman was testified also by
Nicole Minetti and Clotilde Strada on a famous phone call,
intercepted during the sex-scandal Rubygate investigations (the video is on our YouTube Channel).
Sunday, August 1, 2010 – 12:15pm. Silvio Berlusconi calls his (alleged) girlfriend Nicole Minetti and they chat about the political situation, the scandal about Gianfranco Fini's flat in Montecarlo, the sex-trial Rubygate, and much much more.
Silvio Berlusconi: Hello darling
Nicole Minetti: Hey, hello!
Silvio Berlusconi: how is my talented Councillor?
Nicole Minetti: Well, well. And how are you?
Silvio Berlusconi: Everybody speaks so highly of you, I am so glad
Nicole Minetti: Really?
Silvio Berlusconi: Really, sweetheart
Nicole Minetti: Yes
Silvio Berlusconi: Yes, yes.
Nicole Minetti: Who?
Silvio Berlusconi: Everybody, everybody. Those from the [Northern] League, our men...
Nicole Minetti: Come on!
Silvio Berlusconi: Recently Giorgio Puricelli [Lombardy Region PdL's Councillor]
Nicole Minetti: Okay, very good. I am happy, you know?
Silvio Berlusconi: eh, eh
Nicole Minetti: Well, well.
Silvio Berlusconi: And are you happy?
Nicole Minetti: A lot! Of course I'm happy, I am very happy!
Silvio Berlusconi: mmmmh
Nicole Minetti: Absolutely!
Silvio Berlusconi: So, when we hold elections, you can get into the [Italian] Parliament
Nicole Minetti: Obviously! But I think I will take sides with Freedom and Future [movement led by Silvio Berlusconi's rival and PdL deserter Gianfranco Fini] of (laugh)
Silvio Berlusconi: Aaaa. We aaare...
Nicole Minetti: Come on, it's a joke... have a laugh!
Silvio Berlusconi: We are, we are, we are in a huge mess, yes, I am laughing, I am, but we still are in a huge mess, huh?
Nicole Minetti: Oh my God, oh my God, that's terrible
Silvio Berlusconi: But have you read the newspapers?
Nicole Minetti: When, today?
Silvio Berlusconi: Yes.
Nicole Minetti: No, today I haven't yet.
Silvio Berlusconi: So, this one [alluding to Gianfranco Fini, President of the Italian Chamber of Deputies] he took this flat, that was bequeathed by a woman to his party
Nicole Minetti: Yes
Silvio Berlusconi: And he sold it... He sold it... the value was 2 million euro and he sold it for 67,000 euro to... practically himself.
Nicole Minetti: I don't believe that.
Silvio Berlusconi: Yes. And he put into into it his wife's brother, who lives there.
Nicole Minetti: (laugh)
Silvio Berlusconi: The whole thing happened in Montecarlo [Principality of Monaco], through an offshore company
Nicole Minetti: Noooo.
Silvio Berlusconi: And then his mouth is full of worlds like morality and lawfulness.
Nicole Minetti: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, no, no.
Silvio Berlusconi: And do you know where he lives?
Nicole Minetti: No
Silvio Berlusconi: He lives in his partner's home...
Nicole Minetti: Yes.
Silvio Berlusconi: The house that his partner nicked from Gaucci [Luciano Gaucci, Italian entrepreneur], who registered it in her name, in order to avoid seizure from creditors...
Nicole Minetti: Can you realise that?
Silvio Berlusconi: … and when he asked it back, she did not give it back.
Nicole Minetti: Those are the worst, it's the worst, he is the worst. I mean, it's crazy... It's crazy, he is disgusting.
Silvio Berlusconi: And now how can we keep him there President of the Chamber. And the newspapers don't talk about this. Only the newspaper Libero talks about it. Nicole Minetti: Of course. Silvio Berlusconi: And another disgusting thing, the famous free Italian press, it's disgusting. Nicole Minetti: Yes, yes, it's true, it's true, it's true. I can remember a very good article written by Feltri [Vittorio Feltri], if I'm not wrong, some time ago, about a house of De Mita, straight away, in Rome, you know...
Silvio Berlusconi: Yes, yes.
Nicole Minetti: … about the fact he got it from INPS [Italian National Institute of Social Security]. The fact is that, in the end, the newspapers don't talk about it. Silvio Berlusconi: Yes, but here we are not talking about a discount over the rent, or a whatsit, here the fact is that somebody steals from his own party, do you understand? NB: Yes, yes, it's disgusting. He isn't even a member, did you know it? Silvio Berlusconi: Yes, he isn't a member. Nicole Minetti: He's not a member. Silvio Berlusconi: No... So now, we have to bump him off, because he so mad at us... he's full of hate for me... because of the newspapers, for everything, that is irrepressible. Nicole Minetti: Yes, he is envious, because in the end... Silvio Berlusconi: Alright. Nicole Minetti: (mimbles something, but Silvio Berlusconi doesn't allow her to talk) Silvio Berlusconi: Listen, I am at war, what do you do on holiday? Were are you going with Ba... you and Barbie [Barbara Faggioli]. Are you together? Nicole Minetti: I still don't know, we haven't talked yet. Silvio Berlusconi: And what about Barbie? Nicole Minetti: Well, sh is well, absolutely very well, she is good. Silvio Berlusconi: mmh Nicole Minetti: She is studying. Silvio Berlusconi: Good, very well, very w... Giorgio told me you were in Villa d'Este. Nicole Minetti: Yeees, we went to Villa d'Este and Giorgio Pozzi was there too and everything yes, we were well, no worries. They are crazy, anyway, aren't they? Silvio Berlusconi: What do you mean? Nicole Minetti: Come on, they are crazy. Giorgio Pozzi is crazy az a loon. Silvio Berlusconi: Really? Nicole Minetti: Oh my God, yes! Silvio Berlusconi: Why? Nicole Minetti: Because he is. He's crazy, but makes you laugh, he's nice, but he is crazy.
Silvio Berlusconi: (incomprehensible) Nicole Minetti: He had a Rumanian girl there, he had. Silvio Berlusconi: A Rumanian girl? Nicole Minetti: I swear! (laugh) Silvio Berlusconi: (laugh) … but presentable or not? Nicole Minetti: A piece of ass. Silvio Berlusconi: What. Nicole Minetti: A piece of ass. Silvio Berlusconi: Aaah, a piece of... in that case. Nicole Minetti: Yes, yes. And also a good friend of Flo [Florina Marincea], get that. Silvio Berlusconi: Just think! Nicole Minetti: Yes. (laugh) Silvio Berlusconi: That Flo, did you see, she made those 10 pages with Roncuzzi? Nicole Minetti: Yes, yes, yes. Silvio Berlusconi: That's shameful. Nicole Minetti: My goodness, it can't be, it can't be. Silvio Berlusconi: Oh well, listen sweetheart, where are you, in Rimini or Milan? Nicole Minetti: No, I'm in Milan, I am. Silvio Berlusconi: mmmh, in Milan, in Milan... Silvio Berlusconi: Unfortunately I'm leaving for Rome... Nicole Minetti: I know, because tomorrow you'll be... Silvio Berlusconi: yeah... with the senator... and so on... mmmh Nicole Minetti: but when do you leave, at what time do you leave? Silvio Berlusconi: eeh, I leave... now. Nicole Minetti: Really? Silvio Berlusconi: And I still have this arm aching, I cannot even hold the mouthpiece of the telephone in my hand. Nicole Minetti: It's still there? Silvio Berlusconi: Still there, still there. Can't understand what is it. Nicole Minetti: Mamma mia. Silvio Berlusconi: Prepare yourself to see me without an arm. Nicole Minetti: Exaggerated! Do you know that the other day in the council came to me Giuliante [Gianluca Giuliante, PdL's lawyer], to talk to me about the Ruby story? Silvio Berlusconi: And who is this Giuliante? Nicole Minetti: Giuliante is the PdL's [People of Liberty party] lawyer, as well as... Lele's [Lele Mora] Silvio Berlusconi: So he practically came over there, because... he called my assistant, and told her “Look, I have to talk to Nicole, I have to talk to Nicole” , came over to the Council, and practically told me the whole story, about this prosecutor, his name is Forno, who is following the case, who practically say that according to him, not now, but in September, he will call me because, anyway both Ruby and the other ass-hole Michelle [Michelle Conceicao] have put my name forward... and well, nothing, he told me about how were things going, and so on, because they opened an investigation over this Michelle, because in fact it's true that Ruby denounced her Silvio Berlusconi: So Ruby denounced Michelle? Nicole Minetti: Yes, for inducement of prostitution Silvio Berlusconi: Can't be. Nicole Minetti: Yes. Silvio Berlusconi: You mean that someone labels herself as ...? Nicole Minetti: Yes, yes. Silvio Berlusconi: You mean that someone labels herself a whore? Nicole Minetti: Yes. (laugh) Silvio Berlusconi: By herself. Nicole Minetti: I swear. Silvio Berlusconi: Crazy stuff. Well, what is important that several persons can testify that she told us an age different as in reality. Nicole Minetti: Of course. Clear. Of course, of course, of course. Silvio Berlusconi: If that happens, nothing more will happen. Nicole Minetti: And then... Silvio Berlusconi: We just helped her because we felt pity for her. Nicole Minetti: Yes, because he told me that this Forno has also some photos in his hands. Who gave them to him? Michelle. Silvio Berlusconi: (long pause) I understand. Nicole Minetti: (giggles) Silvio Berlusconi:Oh well, let's hope it won't become a mess. Nicole Minetti: No, but... let's hope. Silvio Berlusconi: Well, a littler is enough for... Nicole Minetti: I know. Silvio Berlusconi: If it's about me, all the newspaper are happy Nicole Minetti: In fact it's like that. Silvio Berlusconi: Anyhow, we didn't do anything wrong... Nicole Minetti: Nooo, in fact. Silvio Berlusconi: It's a just a teasing. Nicole Minetti: Indeed, indeed. Silvio Berlusconi: Very well, okay. Ciao. I'll ring you one of these days, than we meet up before the end of the week, if you are around. Ciao sweetheart. Nicole Minetti: Ciao sweetheart, a big kiss.
Tuesday,
November 20, 2012. It turns out the Giuseppe Spinelli, the so-called
Berlusconi's cashier, was rapidly kidnapped and release on the 15 October, on an attempt to obtain a ransom.
71-year-old Giuseppe Spinelli, Berlusconi's accountant
Giuseppe
Spinelli is on of the most trustworthy member of Silvio Berlusconi's team,
he was in charge of paying out allowances and rent for the so-called
Olgettine, a bunch of young women (currently Elisa Toti, Aris
Espinoza, Ioana Visan, Marysthelle Polanco and Eleonora De Vivo)
recruited by former councillor Nicole Minetti. The former Italian
prime minister of Italy is taking care of the beauties, habitué on
bunga-bunga parties (details in our post “Silvio Berlusconi and the bunga bunga army”).
On
the night of the 15th of October Mr Spinelly and his wife
apparently were kidnapped and detained in they very home, for 11
hours, by a gang of criminals, lead by a native of Bari wearing a
black and red (AC Milan colours) shoes, according to the Italian news agency ANSA.
Sunday, October 14, 2012. Lombardy Regional Council's member and Berlusconi's favourite politician strips off for fashion and than declares “to be a politician there's no need to be prepared”.
Well done, Ms Councillor
Berlusconi met Nicole Minetti when she treated him – as a dental hygienist – for a broken teeth, after he was hit by a small statuethrown by a protester in December 2009. Silvio made friends with Nicole – some says to such an extent that she dresses as a nun at Silvio's parties –, and in 2010 she turned up as a candidate for the Lombardy Council, lead by Berlusconi's stalwart Roberto Formigoni, and got the post (won the election).
When criticised for supporting a sexy youngster to be a councillor, Silvio Berlusconi answered – by interrupting a live show Italian TV La7 with a telephone call – that Nicole Minetti was a “well prepared and serious” person, that she should not be considered just a bimbo.
Well, the councillor Minetti doesn't seem to be bothered by the fact that anybody might think she's not “prepared” for the politician's job, in fact she declared on a Berlusconi-owned Canale5 TV show that “to be a politician you do not need to be prepared” at all.
Some of the questions put to Nicole Minetti by former CNN journalist (now an anchorman at Mediaset's Canale 5) Alessio Vinci were raised by the fact that the councillor – a couple of weeks before the interview – took part to a fashion show in Milan, were she showed herself scantily clad (of course, it was a beachwear show by Parah!).
When asked whether politics and fashion could be reconciled, she answered that in fact “politics must support fashion”.
Oddly enough, many asked for Nicole Minetti to resign, but she has several times declared that Angelino Alfano, her boss, never phoned her on the subject (even though some of the PdL – People of Freedom Party – women already solicited Alfano to do so, even by tweeting ti him).
One thing is for sure: five (update: 14 out of 85) members of Lombardy Council have already been arrested, on bribing, embezzlement and/or mafia links charges, fashion might be a more secure job sector nowadays in Italy.
What do Italian think of the whole story? Well, some of them just reckon that Nicole should strip off more...
Monday, 21 March 2011. Milan. New leaks from the Rubygate investigation. At least 33 women are involved with Silvio Berlusconi's "flamboyant life".
Iris Berardi
New details – and pictures (allegedly taken by model Barbara Guerra's mobile phone) – have been leaking in the past days about Mr Berlusconi's flamboyant way of living and hot nights, target of an investigation called Rubygate, from the name of Ruby Rubacuori (nick name for Karima Rashida El Mahroug), the Tunisian girl (later it would turn out she is actually Moroccan) the Italian prime minister might have paid for sex whilst she was still a minor.
The other under-age girl being Iris Berardi, a brazilian showgirl and possibly a prostitute.
Karima Rashida El Mahroug
(aka Ruby Rubacuori)
Allegedly Arcore's Villa San Martino hosted dressing-up (and down) parties, where female guests played different roles: AC Milan's players (specially Ronaldinho and his buck teeth), policewomen, nurses and so on.
Prosecutors linked at least 33 women to the 74-year-old Italian politician. Next month the first of a series of hearings will be held in Milan.
The proceedings are likely to linger on for quite some time.
Perhaps in an attempt to disguise his real identity, some of Berlusconi's women (like former show-girl and dental hygienist and now politician Nicole Minetti) gave up the Papi (Daddy) nickname and called the politician Betty (yes, it's a female nickname in Italy too!). Is't that funny?
Nicole Minetti
The investigation seems to have clarified the bunga-bunga price list that was in use during the Arcore's hot nights:
- 2,000 euro (around £1,750, $2,835) were paid to the girls for the mere participation to the evening;
- 5,000 euro (about £4,370, $7,085) were granted for those who - after the dinner - were to participate to the bunga-bunga party, in the discotheque underground;
- up to 7,000 euro (£6,115, $9,920 circa) was (allegedly) the reward for the chosen one, who would spend the night with “Betty” and... more bunga-bunga.
The date of the begin of the proceedings is April 6, 2011.
